The nation's coronavirus numbers are going up in a hurry. The U.S. has averaged 71-thousand new cases a day over the past seven days. Health officials confirmed at least 74-thousand-300 cases yesterday, pushing the total to more than eight-point-seven million since the outbreak began.       The early voting record keeps getting bigger. More than 71-million Americans had cast ballots as of Tuesday, far more than the 58-point-three-million early votes in 2016.       New Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett will have an immediate impact as oral arguments in a case involving religious liberty are set for next week. It will decide whether a faith-based adoption agency is allowed to turn away same-sex couples.       Hurricane Zeta is gaining strength. The National Weather Service says the Category One storm's maximum sustained winds have increased to 90 miles-per-hour as it barrels toward the Gulf Coast. Zeta is churning about 295 miles south of New Orleans and stands poised to hit the Louisiana coast later today.       Four people are under arrest after jubilant fans celebrated the Dodgers World Series win in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. Several businesses also were vandalized last night and looters made off with merchandise.       Halloween may seem extra spooky this year thanks to a full moon. It'll be visible in every time zone on Saturday, something that hasn't happened since 1944. And the next one won't happen until 2039.
