On November 6, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Juhmel Dwyer with four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling, one count of assault with intent to murder, one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, one count of possession of a stolen firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of domestic simple assault, one count of simple assault, one count of resisting arrest, one count of possession of a firearm without a license, and one count of possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the town of Cumberland sometime on July 26, 2020. The Cumberland Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on November 13, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Richard Stephens (age 52)

On November 6, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Richard Stephens with six counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of first-degree child molestation, six counts of second-degree child molestation, and one count of domestic simple assault.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Central Falls on diverse dates between August 2005 and September 2020. The Central Falls Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on November 25, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

Speaking during an Operation Warp Speed briefing, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar noted a private partnership with CVS Health and says they expect to be vaccinating nursing homes within 48 hours after authorization.       President-elect Joe Biden is officially the winner in Pennsylvania after Governor Tom Wolf certified the election results this morning. Now, the General Services Administration is ready to begin the formal transition process with Biden. The GSA's administrator Emily Murphy said she felt no pressure from the White House, but she has been receiving threats online, by phone and by mail.       The Dallas Cowboys are mourning the sudden death of head strength and conditioning coach Markus Paul. Multiple reports say Paul died Tuesday at the age of 54. Earlier reports said the Cowboys canceled practice after a coach was rushed to the hospital with a serious medical condition. No other details have been released.       Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat and Kaytranada are among the performers nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy. Joining them in the nominations announced today are Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, Chika, Noah Cyrus, and D Smoke. Beyonce received the most nominations with nine.       A Department of Public Safety helicopter crew made a strange discovery on Saturday while flying over a remote part of Utah to count bighorn sheep. They noticed a 10-to-12 foot metal monolith sticking straight up out of the ground. It is unclear what the object is and who put it there, but the pilot thinks it may be an art instillation.
