The House is expected to vote later this week on a more moderate immigration bill than the one it killed last week. The so-called compromise bill includes a path to citizenship for young immigrants known as Dreamers, an end to the diversity visa lottery system, limits on family-based immigration, and 25-billion dollars for President Trump's border wall.        President Trump wants illegal immigrants thrown out of the U.S. as soon as they cross the border. Trump tweeted that when someone comes into the country "we must immediately, with no judges or court cases, bring them back from where they came." Meanwhile, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters is calling for people to confront Trump administration officials in public over the government's immigration policy. Her call comes as two top Trump officials have faced backlash at restaurants recently.        A growing wildfire is bearing down on hundreds of buildings in Northern California. The Pawnee Fire has burned at least 77-hundred acres, about 70 miles northwest of Sacramento. People have been forced to evacuate as the fire threatens 600 buildings.        A federal judge takes up North Carolina's so-called bathroom law today. The U.S. District Court in Raleigh will hear arguments that the law discriminates against transgender people. And the Supreme Court winds up its session this week with rulings on a number of politically potent cases. The highest-profile case is President Trump's ban on travel and immigration by people from eight countries.       The racing world is mourning the death of World of Outlaws driver Jason Johnson. The 41-year-old Johnson died yesterday after a crash Saturday night at the Beaver Dam Raceway in Wisconsin. Johnson was racing for the lead with eventual winner Daryn Pitman when he crashed.        Dinosaurs are chewing up the competition at the box office. "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" is this week's Number One movie in the U.S. and Canada, earning 150-million-dollars in its first week. Last week's top movie, "Incredibles 2," is second, followed by "Ocean's 8," "Tag," and "Deadpool 2."
