The House is moving to block a nationwide rail strike that could deal a major blow to the economy. The chamber passed the resolution in a 290-137 vote, sending it to the Senate for consideration ahead of the December 9th strike deadline. President Biden on Monday called on Congress to force a deal through, saying a strike would have disastrous consequences.       The economy showed more growth than expected in the third quarter. The growth came out to two-point-nine percent. The expansion comes after the economy had shrunk in the previous two quarters.       Prince William and Princess Kate are in Boston today. On Friday, the royal couple will recognize local organizations focused on solutions to climate change.       Iowa's first in the nation presidential caucus spot may be in jeopardy. This, as the Democratic National Committee meets in Washington, DC to address complaints the state isn't racially or ethnically diverse enough. Republicans have already determined that Iowa will remain the first caucus in the nation for the GOP, even if that means moving the caucus up by several months.       Two senators are asking the Federal Trade Commission to look into Ticketmaster's Taylor Swift presale debacle. Tennessee's Marsha Blackburn and Connecticut Democrat Richard Blumenthal sent a letter to the FTC Chair yesterday. They're asking what the commission is doing to mitigate the impact of bots and other malicious software when it comes to selling tickets on the internet.       The San Francisco Police Department is now allowed to kill suspects with robots. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has approved a policy that lets police use remote-controlled robots capable of lethal force when no safer alternative options are available for subduing a threat. The department has had about a dozen robots in its arsenal for the past eleven years.
