President Trump is addressing the growing fallout from his controversial summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin next hour. Trump is speaking in a photo-op of a meeting with some congressional Republicans. He continues to face bipartisan criticism of his comments at a news conference with Putin in Helsinki yesterday.       Chuck Schumer wants immediate hearings on President Trump's summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. On the Senate floor today, the Senate Democratic leader called the summit disastrous and argued Putin couldn't have scripted it better. Schumer said Trump's comments at a joint news conference were naive and weak, calling on Republicans to step-up and start holding Trump accountable.       Possible serial killer Jose Rodriguez has been captured in the Houston area. The Harris County Sheriff's Office says Rodriguez is a suspect in Saturday's murder of a 28-year-old employee of a Mattress Firm in northwest Houston as well as yesterday's killing of an employee at a Mattress One in north Houston. Rodriguez is also the suspect in the murder of a 62-year-old woman on Friday at her home in Cypress.       Former Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke will be going to trial in September. Van Dyke, who is white, is facing first-degree murder and aggravated battery charges after he shot and killed 17-year-old Laquan McDonald in 2014. Van Dyke shot the black teen 16 times while responding to a call claiming McDonald was stealing car radios and was armed with a knife.       A larger explosion could be possible after several smaller ones at a Texas Gulf Coast gas plant west of Houston. Austin County Sheriff's deputies are going door-to-door to evacuate people who live within five miles of the Western International Gas Plant. Smoke can be seen billowing from the facility as fires rage inside.       A lava bomb from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is to blame for injuring nearly two dozen people about a tour boat yesterday. The lava bomb, or flying chunk of molten rock, tore through the boat's roof and damaged the railing. Witnesses report seeing people walking off the boat with large burns and gashes.
