California's Camp Fire has claimed the lives of 42 people so far, overtaking the 1933 Griffith Park Fire as the deadliest on record in the state. The death toll jumped on Monday after authorities recovered 13 additional bodies. Officials say the fire near Chico, California grew to almost 120-thousand acres and is only 30-percent contained. It's one of a handful of fires raging in the state right now.        Power companies may at fault for two deadly wildfires raging in California. SoCal Edison and PG&E both reported malfunctions just before both fires erupted. Officials with the California Public Utilities Commission says they will review incident reports, maintenance records, vegetation management and how well the utilities had geared up for an emergency.        Amazon is confirming it will split its new headquarters between Arlington, Virginia and New York City. The online retail giant made the official announcement this morning, saying it would invest five-billion-dollars and 50-thousand new jobs between the two headquarters. The new facility in Arlington will be located in National Landing, and the New York City headquarters will be located in Queens.        Maryland's Democratic attorney general is asking a federal judge to declare Rod Rosenstein [[ ROSE-en-styne ]] as Acting Attorney General. President Trump's appointment of Matt Whitaker to the post has received a lot of backlash due to his criticism of the Mueller probe in the past. Maryland argues that Whitaker's appointment violates the Constitution because he was not Senate approved for his previous role as Jeff Sessions' Chief of Staff making him unfit.        CNN is suing President Trump and several top White House officials. The network is demanding that White House correspondent Jim Acosta's media credential be restored immediately. The White House suspended Acosta's credential last week and accused him of behaving inappropriately in a news conference. CNN claims Acosta's First Amendment rights were violated.       Kellogg is exploring the sale of its Keebler, Famous Amos and fruit snacks business in an effort to cut down its focus to mainly breakfast products. The Company said by focusing on morning foods, snacks and frozen foods, it will consolidate into one unit. Reorganization comes as part of Kellogg's previously announced cost-saving program called Project K.
