The event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Woonsocket and Books Are Wings.

French President Emmanuel Macron [[ mah-CRONE ]] and his wife are getting first class treatment at the White House today. In the first official state visit of the Trump administration, the Macrons are being formally greeted on the South Lawn this morning. They will also be honored during a state dinner tonight.        At least ten people are dead in Toronto after a driver targeted pedestrians with a rental van. The attack happened on a busy street yesterday afternoon. Over a dozen others were hurt in the attack. Police were able to arrest the driver, who has been identified as 25-year-old Alek Minassian.        A Senate panel is reportedly pushing back a confirmation hearing for President Trump's nominee to be secretary of veterans affairs. The "Washington Post" reports that lawmakers are uneasy about Ronny Jackson's lack of management experience. There are also reportedly new concerns about his time leading the White House medical office.       Former President George H.W. Bush is receiving treatment in a Houston hospital for an infection that spread to his blood. A statement from his spokesman says Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital Sunday morning. The former president is said to be responding to treatment.       Facebook is releasing a rule book for what it allows on the giant social network. The rules cover subjects ranging from drug use and sex work to hate speech, bullying, and inciting violence. The information now available on the website is much more detailed than a brief, general version of Facebook's "community standards" for what people can post.        A big shakeup is underway at United Airlines. CEO Oscar Munoz is cutting his pay for 2017 by more than half and the chairman of United's parent company is stepping aside. Munoz told the airlines employees yesterday he suggested the company's compensation not pay him a bonus for last year.
