City Ushers in 2020 by Welcoming Two New Businesses
with Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies

WOONSOCKET, R.I.: Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt is pleased to usher in 2020 by welcoming a new retailer and restaurateur to the City on Friday, January 24 with Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies.
“The opening of Black Bar & Grille and The Sneaker Outlet are just the very beginning of announcements welcoming new retail and restaurants to our City for our residents and all of Rhode Island to enjoy in the decade ahead,” according to Baldelli-Hunt.
The Sneaker Outlet Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at 3pm at their location at 10 Main Street.
The Sneaker Outlet recently opened by owner Jose Ayala, specializes in brand name new sneakers as well as brand name refurbished sneakers. Ayala’s unique shop will also offer proper shoe care and refurbishment treatments as well as a trade-in trade-up program. Hours of operation are daily 10am – 8pm.
Black’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at 4pm at their location at 1697 Mendon Road.
Black, recently opened by owner Mike Drainville, offers Northern Rhode Island its newest bar and grille serving up American Pub classic fare, a large selection of spirits and craft beers, a great place to watch the game and enjoy live music. Hours of operation are Thursday (4-12PM), Friday (4PM – 1AM), Saturday (Noon-1AM) and Sunday (Noon-11PM) Drainville will be sharing a taste of Black’s offerings to Ribbon Cutting attendees.
Black becomes the newest restaurant on the City’s culinary circuit following the successful launches of Fazzini’s Restaurant & Banquet Hall and Christopher’s Kitchen and Bar within the past year.
