Registration: Starts Monday February 10th for all programs. 

 

Rainforest Reptiles

Monday February 17th 2-3pm
For ages 4 & up with adult. Children under 12 must be with an adult at all times.

Animal Show may includes snakes, turtles, frogs and other live animals.

Free tickets in children’s room available Monday February 10th. Tickets are given out so we do not have too many people in the room.

 

Toddler Time

Tuesday February 18th 10:30-11am

Toddlers 18months to 2 years and their caregivers will sing songs, learn finger plays, look at board books, play with puppets and puzzles. Registration is suggested  so as not to exceed space in the room. Walk-ins are welcome so long as there is space in the room.

 

Dana N. Ronci Author

Tuesday February 18th 2-3pm in the back of the children's room

Great for ages 4 and up with adult caregiver. Children’s book author Dana N. Ronci reads from her new book “The Fish and the Butterfly.” Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author and will be followed by a craft. Registration is suggested however walk-ins are welcome so long as there is space in the room. 

 

Lego Builder's Club

Tuesday February 18th 2-3pm in the children's program room

Great for ages 5 & up with adult caregiver. A caregiver must be in the room at all times for safety as these are the small Legos. We supply the Legos you supply the imagination. Registration is suggested however walk-ins are welcome so long as there is space in the room. 

 

Preschool Storytime

Wednesday February 19th 10:30-11:30am

Great for ages 2-5years with adult caregiver. Children will listen to stories, sing songs, play with puppets, puzzles and board books and make a craft to take home. Registration is suggested as there is a craft and we want to make sure we have enough for all. 401-769-9044 x2

 

Painting Palooza

Wednesday February 19th 2-4pm
We provide the paints, brushes, and things to paint. Great for ages 3.5 and up with adult caregiver. Great for all ages and abilities. Registration is suggested however walk-ins are welcome so long as there is space in the room. 

 

Pretzel Log Cabin

Thursday February 20th 2:30-3:30pm

Great for ages 8 & up with adult caregiver. Please no children under 8 because for safety reasons. We will not be eating any of the edibles for the craft. We provide all the materials you supply the imagination. Edible craft materials include frosting, pretzels, teddy grahams, various crackers and cereal, licorice dogs and cats and so much more. Let us know if your child has a food allergy. We will not use nuts but some items may be processed in a factory that has nuts. You will go home with a completed log cabin. You may with to bring a box or container for the cabin roughly the size of a gingerbread house. Registration is required because we want to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone. Sign up in children’s room or by phone at 401-769-9044 x2

 

Preschool Playdough Time

Friday February 21st 10:30-11:30am

Great for ages 3-6 with adult caregiver. We supply the homemade Playdough for kids to roll and use cookie cutters to make shapes. You can even take home your playdough. Sign up in the children’s room 769-9044 x2 so that we have enough dough for all. 

 

Science Saturday: Properties of  Water

Saturday February 22nd 1-3pm in the Children's program room

Great for ages 8 & up with adult caregiver. This program is not for preschoolers as there are small objects involved with sink and float. Learn about surface tension,  capillary action and buoyancy: what sinks and what floats. Practice ice fishing with string and salt and rescue a tiny dinosaur for you to keep. Make an aluminum foil sail boat and float your plastic animal across the water to safety.        

No registration required. If the room is full simply wait a few minutes for a spot to open up.
