Woonsocket City Council President Dan Gendron has asked members of the public who do not have direct business on the agenda to stay home from Monday night's regularly scheduled council meeting.  "We are urging citizens to watch or listen to the meeting, which is available on cable TV or on WOON AM & FM Radio."  

"The reason is obvious, Dan said, the fewer people who congregate in public places, the fewer chances of spreading the COVID19 virus.  So, if you don't have to give testimony on an agenda item, please participate via our mass media partners."
