CITY OF WOONSOCKET

Rubbish and Recycling Holiday Pickup Schedule

On Monday September 7th, in the observance of Labor Day the Woonsocket Recycle Facility, located at 943 River Street will be closed.

Also closed on Monday September 7th is the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (Central Landfill) in Johnston.

Curbside pick-up of rubbish and recycling for the week of September 7th to September 11th will be delayed by one day.

Residents are reminded that plastic bags of any kind are not allowed in the GREEN recycle carts. All recyclables must be bag free.

Curbside collection of yard waste resumes the week of September 28th. Until then please do not place any yard waste bags in the sidewalk areas.
