House Oversight Committee to Hear Report on Expenditures for COVID Relief, Small Business Support 

STATE HOUSE — The House Committee on Oversight is scheduled to meet Thursday to hear a presentation on how the state has spent or plans to spend money on coronavirus aid, as well as efforts to support small business during the ongoing crisis.  

The committee will meet Thursday, Dec. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the House Lounge on the second floor of the State House. This is the second meeting of the committee to delve into  

The committee will hear a presentation on expenditure data from the Coronavirus Relief Fund and a detailed review of support for small businesses. Brett Smiley, director of the Department of Administration, along with Jonathan Wormer, director of the Office of Management and Budget, and Secretary of Commerce Stefan Pryor are all expected to give testimony remotely.  

The State House remains closed to the public due to the pandemic.
