Town of North Smithfield

December 18, 2020

I would like to take a moment to speak to you regarding Covid-19 and town services.  During the past two and a half weeks, we have experienced challenges and have adjusted our processes here at Town Hall.  All staff members are working diligently to assure every employee stays safe and healthy, while we are navigating through uncharted territory. We have implemented new polices to maximize the safety of our residents, businesses and staff.

We are aware residents and businesses would prefer to enter the building to address their needs.  Unfortunately, we are still unable to open our doors to the public.  During the winter months we are asking residents to take care of their town hall business from their home computers.  Please do not hesitate to call us if you need assistance.  If you must come to the Town Hall, if possible, call us from your car to let us know you are here, and we will assist you.  If you come to the door there is a buzzer where we can speak with you and assist you.  There is also a drop box located on the driveway side of the building for your convenience.

Let us work together to keep all our residents and staff of North Smithfield safe and healthy.
