BOARD OF CANVASSERS ANNOUNCES POST CARDS TO BE SENT TO VOTERS WITH MARCH 2, 2021 SPECIAL ELECTION INFORMATION

Woonsocket, RI: At a meeting of the Board of Canvassers on Monday, January 7, 2021 the Board unanimously decided to send postcards to the voters with information on the upcoming March 2, 2021 Special Election. These post cards are scheduled to start going out on January 28th . As you may be aware the General Assembly in December passed the State Budget in the budget there is seven bond questions. These questions are going to be voted on by the electorate of the state at a special election on March 2, 2021. “The post cards will have general information on the March 2, 2021 special election. “Narducci Said. 1)VOTE FROM HOME: Voting from home is a safe and easy option for those voters who do not want to vote in-person. Voters must return their mail ballot application by the deadline (Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.), 2) EMERGENCY IN PERSON VOTING: Starts February 10 through March 1 during regular business hours at City Hall. 3) VOTE ON ELECTION DAY: You can vote in person on March 2, 2021. The City is using 4 Super Polling Places. Super Polling Places allow for a registered voter to go to any one of the four that are open on Election Day. Polling places will be open from 7am to 8pm. Reminder: Super Polling Places will only be used for this Election. Below is a list of super polling places being used on March 2, 2021: JOHN F.
