Do you like being outdoors? Do you like seeing animals around your neighborhood? If so, please join us for Why Birds are the BEST this spring. This program is being offered by the Audubon Society of Rhode Island in partnership with the Woonsocket Harris Public Library.

Why Birds are the BEST will run for 4 sessions that will take place entirely outdoors in the green space around the Library, with a walk to nearby Social Park on the last day. We will explore what makes birds special, why people love them so much, and how we can find and watch them in Woonsocket. We will do engaging activities and hands-on investigations to learn more about our feathered friends, and have fun, too! No background knowledge of birds necessary; we will start from the beginning. The only requirements are comfortable shoes and readiness to learn outdoors. We hope that you will join our flock!
