Woonsocket Updated Schedule for Road

Repairs to Include the East Woonsocket, North

End, Constitution Hill and Cato Hill Districts

WOONSOCKET, R.I.: Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt today detailed updates to road reconstruction that will occur in the East Woonsocket, North End, Constitution Hill and Cato Hill Districts, starting Monday, July 26th. Roads are being repaired in these districts under the direction of the Woonsocket Department of Public Works after recent gas main upgrades by National Grid Gas Company.

Mayor Baldelli-Hunt stated, "We have collaborated with National Grid to implement an aggressive road repair schedule, according to our high-quality standards, soon after they complete their necessary gas main enhancements. This collaboration, in conjunction with our own Department of Public Works road reconstruction program allows for upgrades to our gas mains and our roadways. This has proven to be a winning combination!"

Public Works Director Steve DAgostino stated, "We work closely with National Grid after they do their gas main upgrades so the roads they repair meet our specifications."
