COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility and Available Local Clinics Scheduled

The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) has updated its vaccine administration strategy to ensure the availability of COVID-19 boosters to all eligible populations. The current revision has taken place in response to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) & Center for Disease Control’s latest guidance regarding COVID-19 booster shot administration.

The City of Woonsocket will be partnering with the Town of North Smithfield to offer "Moderna" COVID-19 booster clinics at Monsignor Gadoury School 1371 Park Avenue in Woonsocket.

The guidance for "Moderna" boosters is as follows:

People who received the first two doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines can get a booster dose six months or more after their second dose if they are:
