WOONSOCKET BOARD OF CANVASSERS ANNOUNCE A CANDIDATE'S SCHOOL  

Woonsocket, RI: The Board of Canvassers and Registration would like to invite individuals that are looking to be candidates for office in 2022 to a Candidate School.

During the School, we will cover topics such as important deadlines, party endorsements and nomination papers. We are also planning on having a representative from the State Board of Elections join us to discuss Campaign Finance.

We will be reviewing the requirements for state and city office in Woonsocket. We will also be discussing requirements for local and state party committee offices. For information on running for statewide and federal office, you should contact the Secretary of State’s office.

The school will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 10am at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library, located at 303 Clinton Street, Woonsocket RI. Due to limited seating, we are asking individuals that would like to join us in person to rsvp by March 23rd.
