Autumnfest Offers Scholarship to High School Senior

Woonsocket – The Autumnfest Steering Committee is dedicated to making our community a place where each person and each event makes someone proud to live here.  Through volunteers, the Autumnfest Steering Committee holds many community events with the largest one being on Columbus Day Weekend (October 7-10, 2022).  These community events are run by volunteers.  People who want to make a difference by giving back to their community.

Once again, the Autumnfest Steering Committee is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to one graduating senior from Woonsocket High School or Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center or Mount Saint Charles Academy or Beacon Charter High School for the Arts who displays the love and passion for the community by the volunteer work they are involved in with the community.  We ask that you tell us, in 500 words or less, how you embody similar qualities and include specific details on how you have volunteered to make a difference in your community and in the lives of those around you.  Be sure to include any community involvement and/or civic activities.

Autumnfest General Chairperson, Judy Sullivan said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for a senior in our area.  The value of an education is priceless but it does cost money.  Autumnfest is here to help.  If you are a graduation senior, please fill out an application ASAP.”
