The Blackstone River Watershed is celebrating an important milestone in 2022 – ZAP50.

Honoring the 50th anniversary of Operation Zap. Operation ZAP (Zero Away Pollution) occurred in September of 1972, a grassroots project that began the clean-up efforts of the Blackstone River watershed. The legacy has continued and continues with every clean up within the watershed. To honor the anniversary of Zap on Saturday, August 27. we want folks to join us again in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts for a momentous clean-up/green-up event! MORE INFO.
