On Wednesday, May 4th from 9:00 to 10:00am, the Woonsocket Education Department will hold a Kick Off Ceremony for Mental Health Awareness Month.  This event will be held in the auditorium of the Woonsocket High School.  

Did you know that the Woonsocket Education Department (WED) is the first public school district in Rhode Island to train students in Teen Mental Health First Aid, an evidence based curriculum on mental health, suicide prevention and peer interventions?  Fifty of our students will be recognized for successfully completing the course this year.
