The Woonsocket Historical Society is pleased to announce a North End Walking Tour on Sunday, October 23 at 1:00 pm.  Over the years the historical society has received many requests for a North End tour.  During  the summer, Irene Blais and historian Don Hoard have worked together  to research and develop the tour. 

Please park at the St. Stanislaus Kostka parking lot located at 174 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket.  We will meet across the street at the corner of Homestead and Harris Avenue in the little park.

Some of the streets we will walk are Oakley, Glen, Woodland, Prospect and Winter Street.   The history and architecture of many homes will be discussed. 

The tour should last 1 ½ - 2 hours.  Please wear comfortable shoes.
