Robert Komhlan (age 37)

Providence, RI

On January 5, 2022, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Robert Komhlan with one count of murder, one count of discharge of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of carrying a pistol without a license, one count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and one count of discharge of a firearm in a compact area.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime on April 1, 2022. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on January 11, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Christopher Taylor (age 33)

East Providence, RI

On January 5, 2022, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Christopher Taylor with three counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of domestic strangulation, and one count of domestic violation of a No Contact Order.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of East Providence on diverse dates between June 1, 2022, and July 17, 2022. The East Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on January 25, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.

 

 

Zackary Ruth (age 27)

Central Falls, RI

On January 5, 2022, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Zackary Ruth with one count of first-degree child molestation.

 

The alleged act occurred in the city of Central Falls sometime between October 17, 2013, and October 17, 2014. The Central Falls Police Department conducted the investigation.

 

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on January 25, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.
