Re:      Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision

On October 23, 2017 at around 7:40am, uniformed officers responded to a report of a two car motor
vehicle collision, with injuries, in the area of 764 Great Road. Each vehicle was occupied only by
the operator. The operator of one of the vehicles was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and the
operator of the other vehicle was transported to Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket where she
was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Preliminary investigation shows that one of the vehicles was travelling north bound and crossed
over the center double yellow lines, colliding with the second vehicle which was travelling south
bound. The accident is still under investigation by accident reconstruction personnel and no
additional details will be released at this time.
