Thundermist Health Center Hosts Annual Golf Tournament

Warwick, RI (December 18, 2018) — Thundermist Health Center, a non-profit community health center, hosted its annual golf tournament on October 10 at Sakonnet Golf Club in Little Compton. The event raised more than $25,000 to benefit the patients and programs of Thundermist.

The 14th Annual Golf Tournament kicked off with music from local bagpipers. Golfers enjoyed Sakonnet’s picturesque views and a day of beautiful weather.  The event was an opportunity for business leaders and community members to join for an afternoon of fun and philanthropy in support of Thundermist Health Center.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better day to be out on the course,” said Jeanne LaChance, president/CEO. “It was remarkable to see people championing Thundermist and its mission. We greatly appreciate the support of our sponsors and participants.”

Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island and Gordon Marchand were the premier sponsors of the event. Reception sponsors included Chace, Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP; Landmark Medical Center; and Mutual of America.
