Austin police are detailing a video confession from the suspected serial bomber. Suspect Mark Conditt detailed the bomb components, but didn't give a motive for his crimes. The video also did not indicate an influence of terror or hate. Conditt blew himself up as police closed in on him this morning.        President Trump may soon level new trade sanctions against China. The 50-billion-dollar tariff are meant to punish China for the theft of American intellectual property. Recent tariffs meant to target Chinese steel and aluminum imports have already sparked worries of a looming trade war.        Congress is unveiling its one-point-three-trillion-dollar spending plan. The budget deal will keep the government running through September. It contains big boosts in defense spending. Congress has to pass the spending bill by midnight Friday.        Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says he's happy to testify in front of Congress over a huge data gathering scandal. In an interview with CNN, Zuckerberg said he is "really sorry" that data firm Cambridge Analytica improperly got access to data from over 50-million people without users' knowledge. The firm was behind President Trump's 2016 election campaign and used the information to target users during the election.        The Baseball Hall of Fame is doing away with the Cleveland Indians controversial Chief Wahoo logo. Cooperstown announced today the Indians' "Block C" logo will be on Jim Thome [[ TOH-mee ]] and all other Cleveland players when they're enshrined. Thome will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in July and had previously said he didn't want the smiling Indian chief's logo on his plaque.
