President Trump says he wants children staying with their families. Speaking at the White House today, Trump said he's pleased with the executive order he signed last week ordering an end to the forced separation of migrant children and their families at the southern border. Trump again criticized U.S. border and immigration policies. He called the policies disastrous. Trump also repeated an allegation that Democrats are weak on border security.        The President is calling out Congresswoman Maxine Water for comments she made recently. In a tweet today, Trump said the California Democrat has an "extraordinarily low IQ." He accused Waters of encouraging harm to his supporters and said, "Be careful what you wish for Max!" Waters called on people to publicly harass Trump administration officials.        Stocks are dropping like a rock as fears of a trade war heighten. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down over 450 points. The drop began after reports surfaced that President Trump may be planning to block several Chinese firms from investing in American technology while putting additional blocks on exports to China. The White House has denied those reports.        The U.S. Supreme Court is making moves on cases involving the drawing of congressional maps in two states. In a Texas case, justices largely overturned a lower court ruling against a Republican redistricting plan. Justices said there wasn't enough evidence to support arguments that the plan intentionally diluted the voting power of minorities. The 5-4 ruling found that one Texas district was drawn in violation of constitutional protections against racial gerrymandering.        A firefighter is dead after a shooting at a Long Beach, California senior living facility. Long Beach Fire Chief Michael DuRee says a second firefighter who was shot is in stable condition and a civilian was also transported in critical condition. A person of interest has been detained and a weapon was recovered, but the investigation is ongoing.        Heather Locklear is back behind bars. TMZ reports that the actress was arrested overnight on battery charges and is being held on 20-thousand-dollars bail. The website says authorities were called to her Thousand Oaks home on reports of a disturbance and a family member said she was heavily intoxicated.
