Former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized in Houston with an infection that spread to his blood. He was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday morning, according to a statement. The 93-year-old former president is said to be responding to treatment.        Toronto Police say at least ten people have died following a van attack on a busy street. Toronto's police chief Mark Saunders said 15 people are still receiving treatment at hospitals. The motive in the attack still unclear.       A new grant will help first responders who responded to the scene of the deadly mass shooting on Valentine's Day at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The Department of Justice announced a one-million-dollar grant to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to help pay salary and overtime expenses for the first responders. The City of Parkland, Broward County and State of Florida have been incurring millions of dollars in costs following the tragedy.       "Smallville" actress Allison Mack may be working out a plea deal for her role in an upstate New York sex cult. According to a court document made public, the 35-year-old is in talks with the U.S. Attorney's Office for New York's Eastern District on a potential plea that would likely avoid a trial. Mack is scheduled for a bail hearing tomorrow in Brooklyn federal court.        A monkey can't sue for copyright infringement on his selfie. The federal court ruling comes after photographer David Slater set up his camera in an Indonesian forest, and Naruto, a crested macaque monkey, took photos of himself. PETA sued after Slater published those pictures, claiming that Naruto's copyright was infringed since he took those photos. Initially, the lawsuit was dismissed after the court ruled that a monkey lacks the standing to sue.
