North Smithfield -- Annual curbside yard waste collection for North Smithfield homeowners begins Saturday October 5th and will continue through November. This is a Saturday only collection, even during holiday periods.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - In observance of Columbus Day all town offices will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2013.
There will be no trash or recycling pickup on Monday, October 14, 2013. All routes will be delayed by one day all week.
Residents are urged to plan accordingly.
NORTH SMITHFIELD – Town of North Smithfield Taxes Due
Second quarter taxes are due on October 15, 2013 for residents and businesses in North Smithfield. Interest and penalties will be assessed if payment is received past that date.
To facilitate payment and avoid waiting in line, payments must be sent to the Tax Office, 575 Smithfield Road, North Smithfield, RI 02896 or drop off payments in the secure drop box located outside the building. Questions or comments should be directed to Tax Collector at 767-2200 ex.t 511.
