NORTH SMITHFIELD – 4th Quarter taxes are due by Monday April 15, 2013. Payment not received by the date will incur interest charges.

Volunteers are needed to assist at the 11th annual Clean & Green Day that will take place on May 4th, 2013 rain or shine

Moving the building inspection and sewer administrator’s offices to the Town Municipal Annex has opened space in the Town Hall building located at 1 Main Street.

As part of the commitment to a green environment, North Smithfield will again offer a Saturday yard waste collection beginning on April 6th, 2013. This program is a convenient way for residents to keep all yard waste out of our trash tonnage during the Spring yard clean up.

Town administrator Paulette Hamilton recently appointed Tammy Boss as Tax Assessor for the Town of North Smithfield. She replaces Chris Belair who has begun working with the Town of Bristol.
