 This Sunday will be a day of history, great music, arts and crafts and wonderful food on the Historic Slatersville Common and beyond.

Slatersville Heritage Day

 This Sunday will be a day of history, great music, arts and crafts and wonderful food on the Historic Slatersville Common and beyond.

2:30 - 5:30 PM -The following historic places will be open for tours:

 ·         Heritage Hall on Green Street (built 1897)

  • ·         The Forestdale (Little Red) School House on School Street in Forestdale (built 1877)
  • ·         The Slatersville Congregational Church UCC on the Common (built 1838)
  • ·         See the trailer for the film “Slatersville, America’s First Mill Village” and meet the filmmaker, Christian De Rezendes
  • ·         North Smithfield Library - activities for the kids
  • ·         Shop at the Farmers - Artesian – Merchants Markets on the Common
  • ·         Take a Walking Tour with Park Rangers of Historic Slatersville
  • ·         Enjoy a History Presentation on the Common with Park Rangers
  • ·         Great food all afternoon and evening

5:00 - 5:45 PM – ‘Or I might Explode’

 6:00 – 7:30 PM - Brass Attack

 

It is going to be a great day for Slatersville - lots of fun.
