Woonsocket Prevention Coalition has the ‘chops’ to bid farewell to Summer fun with healthy living education

and a sharp competition

WHO:        The Woonsocket Prevention Coalition (WPC)

INFO:          The WPC’s 7th Annual Bye-Bye Summer Fiesta bids adios to summer once again at this multi-cultural event focused on building community pride, strengthen community unity and promote healthy living. Attendees will be treated to a Youth Iron Chef Competition to promote healthy living. It’s a great way to teach our youth how to make healthy meal choices that they can obtain right at their local grocery stores and bodegas.

Along with the competition, families can enjoy fun activities like Goliath (the National Guard’s unconquerable rock wall), our Sponge Bob Moon Bounce, raffle prizes and energizing music. Families will also receive important information from the Woonsocket Prevention Coalition and a multitude of service providers that will be on-hand.

WHEN:      Friday, August 23rd 2013

TIME:        4:30pm- 8pm
