NORTH SMITHFIELD – North Smithfield’s 7th Annual Great Pumpkin Festival will feature longtime favorites and plenty of new food, games, entertainment and activities to delight festival goers.

The entertainment lineup has something for everyone with 2 stages of continuous performances including a variety of bands including, Or I Might Explode, Backtrack and T.O.M.B. (The Old Man Band). In addition to great music the second stage offers The Dance Step, Bobo the Clown, Mastery Martial Arts, NS High School Drama Club and Okinawan Temple Shorin–Ryu Karate.

There are several opportunities to enter exciting contests. Photographer Pamela Bhatia will sponsor the third annual Community Photo Contest with great prizes for best photo. If you have talent and want to get recognized, register now to participate in the new NS Got Talent Competition. New this year is a giant game of Bingo.

Young children can spend time at the free Touch- A-Truck, with over 20 vehicles, Fall Field Events & Races and activity booths sponsored by Dr. Day Care, Mastery Martial Arts and Lumberjack’s Pizza.

Popular and traditional and many new non-profit groups will offer a smorgasbord or foods, games and activities. Join the fun on September 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the North Smithfield Middle School fields. Canned goods will be collected for the NS Food Pantry.
