Special “Behind the Scenes” Exclusive Motorcoach Tour Offered In Conjunction With Comic Con Event

Attention all Comic Con Fans: Get ready for an exclusive motorcoach trip, happening Friday afternoon, November 1, as The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council offers a special behind the scenes tour of Fox TV’s animated The Family Guy “locations” in and around Providence, RI.

This special tour takes place in advance of Rhode Island Comic Con, which takes place in Providence on November 2-3. Early arrivals and area residents will have a chance to see locations that inspired Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane, whose latest comedic television show, Dads, is also raising eyebrows, is a former student at Rhode Island School of Design.

The tour is described as a “raucous romp and rockin’ good time.” A dozen or more sites in Providence, Pawtucket, Johnston and Cranston are highlighted and a ‘location’ lunch is included.

 

Neighborhood 'locations' and now-famous settings in Rhode Island that inspired this hilarious, Emmy nominated series are featured. You’ll have a blast! You might have a 'Gansett. Heck, you could even win a personal visit with THE BIG BLUE BUG!

This half day Guided Tour leaves at 12 noon on Friday, November 1, from the RI Convention Center, 1 Sabin Street, Providence. The motorcoach tour includes: Lunch, Trivia, Commentary, Lots of photo ops at notable Family Guy spots and more! Trip returns by 5 pm.

Tickets for the Family Guy Tour are $40person and people are strongly urged to reserve their tickets NOW, because of the high public interest in the Family Guy series.
