NORTH SMITHFIELD- The following activities are being planned for the next two weeks during the National Grid Interstate Reliability Project:

Tree clearing crews have relocated from the Black Hut Management Area and will be working from Black Plain Road along the right-of-way off Mattity Road heading west towards Bearskin Farm Road.

After reaching a point just beyond Bearskin Farm Road, the crews will return to the Douglas Pike intersection of the right-of-way and continue east.

Outreach to abutters is ongoing regarding activities in the immediate area.

No trespassing signs are being distributed, posted and photographed in response to our mailing to abutters as part of local police department and National Grid's efforts to deter trespassing on private property.
