SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT
The Woonsocket Education Department announces it's sponsorship of the USDA Summer Food Service
Program for Children. The Summer Food Service Program feeds hungry children when school is out so
they can get the nutritious meals they need. The program is designed to provide meals at the specific
locations. The meals are free to all children age 18 and under. There is no application or registration
required.
The Summer Food Service Program will run Monday through Friday. Meals will not be serviced in
inclement weather at the outdoor sites. The following is a list of the sites and meals to be served.
JULY 1, 2013 THROUGH AUGUST 15, 2013
Cass Park Playground, Cass Avenue, Woonsocket, RI
Lunch from 11:30 to 12:30
Dunn Park, Mason Street, Woonsocket, RI
Lunch from 12:00 to 1:00
Harris Library, 303 Clinton St, Woonsocket RI
Lunch from 11:45 —12:45
Morin Heights Community Center
Lunch from 11:45 to 12:45
JULY 7, 2013 THROUGH JULY 25, 2013
Woonsocket Middle School @ Hamlet Cafeteria
Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:00
Lunch from 11:30 to 12:30
The sites are open to all children from the community at large, but may be limited for reasons of security,
safety and/or control.
