Rubbish and Recycling Holiday Pickup Schedule

 The Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility located at 943 River Street, Woonsocket will be closed on Thursday July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

 Residents on the following collection days will be delayed by one day: Thursday and Friday.

On June 24, 2013 members of the Woonsocket Police Department arrested four subjects on charges of B&E.  Since the end of May there have been five B&Es in the area of Cumberland Hill Rd.

 15 ft. x 42 in. swimming pools sold at Walmart and other locations for $249 - holds 35.5 gallons of water which requires it to be fenced in to follow safety precautions.

PLEASE NOTE from NSAA:  The NSAA Run-Jump-Throw summer track program has been cancelled tonight only, due to impending unhealthy weather. 
With the temperature expected to be hovering around 90 degrees, we think it's probably best to not have the kids running around the turf field and track.

Wednesday, 26, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  

NO Zumba Class on the Common.

Woonsocket, RI (June 21, 2013) – Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) and national non-profit KaBOOM! have awarded the Bernon Heights Elementary School PTO, in partnership with the Woonsocket Education Department (WED), a $15,000 Let’s Play Community Construction Grant.
