Come to a free HOW TO RIDE workshop sponsored by AARP on Wednesday May 15th at 10:30 a.m.  Co-sponsored by the Town of North Smithfield, RIPTA staff will be on site to process Senior Photo ID Buss Passes and explain the FLEX SERVICE option for transportation. NORTH SMITHFIELD – Outdoor burning is not allowed in North Smithfield. Extremely dry conditions can produce brush fires that can get out of hand quickly.
Public Safety Director Paulette D. Hamilton reminds residents that the “no burning” regulation will remain in effect during the summer and those who violate the ordinance will be fined.
