Moore announces fire safety grants for area towns

BOSTON – Sen. Richard T. Moore, D-Uxbridge, today announced that thirteen towns across the Worcester & Norfolk district will receive grant funds for the Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) Program, totaling $63,125.

On Sunday 01/13/13 at about 3:38 P.M. the Woonsocket Police responded to the area of Pond St. for a report of shots fired.  When officers arrived they noticed a white 1999 Honda had struck a telephone pole and had two bullet holes in the vehicle.  That vehicle had been driven by James Lambert Jr.
