The ceasefire between Israel and Iran is already showing signs of strain as President Trump heads to the NATO summit in the Netherlands where the conflict will be a key topic of discussion. As he left the White House this morning, Trump was asked about the status of the ceasefire he announced yesterday. He made it clear he's not happy with either country at the moment. After agreeing to the ceasefire, Israel overnight accused Iran of violating its terms by launching more missiles - a claim Iran denied amid reports of explosions in the capital city Tehran.        L.A.'s police chief is defending his department's handling of recent immigration protests. LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell issued statement saying allegations of excessive force and indiscriminate use of non-lethal weapons and tear gas and lack of oversight are "simply not accurate." The chief says when demonstrators began throwing objects, setting fires and refusing to disperse after repeated lawful orders, officers were justified in taking swift and measured action to prevent further harm and restore public safety.        Extreme heat can be especially dangerous when you're in cap and gown as high school graduates found out in North Jersey on Monday afternoon. A joint graduation ceremony for five Paterson high schools had to be called off mid-way when students, and some parents, started getting dizzy and collapsing. The mayor said 50 people needed treatment on the scene and nine were transported to a hospital.        There's a grassroots effort to boycott McDonald's over the fast-food chain's roll back of diversity initiatives and it starts today. It's organized by the advocacy group The People's Union USA, which has been targeting corporations that seem to be backing away from diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.        NBA star James Harden is named in a sexual assault lawsuit filed this week by a woman in Texas. The lawsuit claims that Harden's nephew Justice Armani Blackburn, assaulted her at Harden's home last New Year's Eve. The suit claims negligence on the part of the L.A. Clippers guard contributed to the assault.        JetBlue is the latest airline that will be able to track luggage using Apple AirTags. The airline says it's integrating the iOS software so customers can share the location of their tagged luggage with the airline.
