More than 50 Democrats fled to Illinois, New York, and Massachusetts to prevent Republicans from advancing redistricting maps aimed at adding up to five GOP seats ahead of the 2026 midterms.        Israel appears to be poised to move forward with a plan to take full control of the Gaza Strip. Local media reports a source in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office says the decision has been made and that the Palestinian militant group Hamas will not release the remaining hostages taken in 2023 unless the area comes under full Israeli occupation. The country's security cabinet is set to meet today to discuss the next steps in the war.        Tesla is giving CEO Elon Musk an interim pay package worth 29-billion-dollars in shares. The shares will be forfeited if Musk wins his legal battle to get the shares from his 2018 package worth 56-billion-dollars. The 2018 package has been in limbo since a judge ruled it was improperly granted.        The Boeing machinists' strike is in day two with neither side ready to resume negotiations. The machinists' union says there are no talks currently scheduled between Boeing and the union, which represents over three-thousand workers at three facilities in the St. Louis area. Members of the union hit the picket lines yesterday demanding a better deal.        A lawsuit has been filed against the gaming platform Roblox in connection with the kidnapping and sexual abuse of a 13-year-old Iowa girl. The suit alleges Roblox enabled the girl's exploitation by failing to implement adequate safety measures on its platform.        The government's strategy to protect cattle and scare off predatory wolves is ever-evolving. The Wall Street Journal reports the Department of Agriculture has started using a recording of actors Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver screaming at each other in "Marriage Story" to frighten wolves across the American West. The USDA is reportedly using drones with speakers to blast the scene as well as sounds of fireworks, gunshots and AC/DC's "Thunderstruck."
