Yard Waste Collection is moving into its Fall Collection Schedule meaning Every Week for 10 weeks!
Every Week Collection starts the week of Monday, September 29 through the week of Monday, December 1st (meaning through December 5th for our Friday route residents)
Paper Yard Waste Bags or Covered Barrels marked Yard Waste can be used for leaves, grass clippings and small twigs. Small branches less then 4 ft and a few inches in diameter, as well as small bushes, can be bundled and bound with twine. Bundles must be small workable sizes.
Sand, dirt, rocks and substantial amounts of mulch are never permissible. Heavy loads are often the result of these materials, get rejected and often tear bags making a mess.
Plastic "yard waste bags" are not collected - as it is impossible to determine if they are Yard Waste bags or normal trash bags - no exceptions can be made.
Helpful hint: Make sure you cover your barrels - rain water collection will also cause heavy loads and lead to rejections.
