RIPTA Administrative Offices Will Be Closed on the Holiday

 

 

Providence, Rhode Island, September 30, 2021 -- The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run a Sunday/Holiday service schedule for all fixed-route and paratransit service on Monday, October 11, 2021 for the Columbus Day Holiday. All RIPTA offices will be closed on the Monday holiday.

 

RIPTA Flex Routes will not be operating on the holiday except for Flex Route 203 (URI/Narragansett/South Kingstown) which will operate from 10 am to 5 pm.  The Flex Service reservation line (1-877-906-FLEX) and the RIde paratransit reservation line (461-9760) will not be staffed on the holiday.  However, Flex and RIde passengers can leave a detailed message on the appropriate phone lines if they want to schedule an upcoming trip.

In a four-to-one ruling Tuesday, the Wyoming Supreme Court struck down two abortion bans as unconstitutional. The ruling said, "A woman has a fundamental right to make her own health care decisions including the decision to have an abortion."        The Baltimore Ravens are moving on from head coach John Harbaugh after 18 seasons. The firing comes after Baltimore lost Sunday to Pittsburgh to end their season in a winner-take-all matchup for a playoff berth. Harbaugh won 180 games during his time with the franchise, including winning Super Bowl 47.
