The FBI taking over the investigation into the ICE-involved shooting death in Minnesota. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said it was notified that it "would no longer have access to the case material, scene evidence or investigative interviews necessary to complete a thorough and independent investigation."        A suspect remains at large in connection with a shooting outside a church in Utah. Two people were killed and six others were injured in the incident. Police say a funeral was taking place at an LDS church in Salt Lake City Wednesday when an altercation broke out in the parking lot and shots were fired at a group of people.        Vice President JD Vance has announced a new assistant attorney general position whose sole job is combating government fraud across the country. Vance told White House reporters today the initial focus of the person will be to investigate the alleged Medicaid fraud in Minnesota and then move nationwide. Vance said this assistant AG will also look into networks of fraud connected to terrorists.        A resolution that would block President Trump from taking further action in Venezuela without congressional approval has made its way through the Senate. The upper chamber agreed to start debate on the war powers resolution in a 52-47 procedural vote. Five Republicans joined Democrats in voting to advance the measure. That group of Republicans included Senators Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Todd Young and Josh Hawley.        Severe weather and floods could be on the way for millions as the first of two cross country storms heads East. The storm is moving out of the Four Corners region with Missouri and Kansas seeing downpours today, while a tornado has been confirmed in Oklahoma. The system will move through the Midwest throughout today.        There's a lighter slate of college basketball on tap tonight. Number 13 Michigan State will take on Northwestern in East Lansing to start the night off. Later, number 16 Illinois will welcome in Rutgers to Champaign. Lastly, number eight Gonzaga will host Santa Clara in Spokane.
