Tickets are now on sale for the Check the Stigma Hockey Classic on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Providence College Schneider Arena. This will be an action-packed game featuring hockey legends and lots of exciting activities for fans of all ages!
A special Basin WaterFire will kick off the Check the Stigma Hockey Classic on Friday, July 14th at 8pm.
Funds raised from the event will support mental health, suicide prevention, and substance use work here at Community Care Alliance and at the other six behavioral health organizations that make up Horizon Healthcare Partners (HHP).

Secretary of State Marco Rubio says "substantial progress" has been made during talks aimed at ending the war between Russia and Ukraine. Officials from the U.S., Ukraine and Russia met in Geneva over the weekend, with Rubio saying on Sunday that it had been "productive and meaningful." President Trump has given Ukraine until Thursday to agree to a 28-point plan that calls, in part, for Kyiv [[ KEEV ]] to give up territory to Russia and limit the size of their military.     An investigation is underway after a Pennsylvania congresswoman's office was reportedly targeted by a bomb threat. Officials said the threat was made toward Democratic Representative Chrissy Houlahan's district office in West Chester last Friday. It came days after a video in which Houlahan and other Democratic lawmakers told military members to ignore orders issued by President Trump if they are illegal.     Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is announcing a billion-dollar investment into new technology and security systems at airports across the country. Noem's announcement came as she stopped at multiple airports over the weekend, in part to hand out ten-thousand-dollar bonus checks to TSA employees who worked diligently and without pay throughout the recent, record setting government shutdown.     The holiday season is getting into swing at the White House. Later on today, First Lady Melania Trump will take delivery of the Blue Room Christmas tree, picked this year from Michigan. Also happening this week, President Trump will pardon a couple of turkeys from North Carolina in the annual Thanksgiving tradition.     An extremely lengthy labor strike is finally coming to an end as journalists go back to work today at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Last week, local Newspaper Guild members voted to end the three-year work stoppage after a court ruled in favor of their demands.     A gold pocket watch that survived the 1912 sinking of the Titanic has sold for more two-point-three million dollars at auction. The watch was recovered from the body of first class passenger Isidor Straus. Straus and his wife Ida were depicted in the 1997 film "Titanic" as the couple who refused to separate in their final moments and perished in the disaster that claimed more than 15-hundred lives.
