Governor McKee Issues Statement in Recognition of Veterans Day

PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Dan McKee released the following statement today in recognition of Veterans Day:

"On Veterans Day, we come together to express our deep appreciation for the brave men and women who have served our nation selflessly. Their sacrifice, courage and dedication have shaped our country and preserved our freedoms.

Whether in times of peace or conflict, these heroes have shown unwavering commitment, resilience, and patriotism. Here in Rhode Island, we are committed to honoring them not only on this day, but every day.

To the more than 60,000 Veterans, active duty, and guard members who live in our state, and their families – Rhode Island thanks you. To those who are no longer with us – we will never forget you. May this Veterans Day be a moment of reflection, gratitude, and unity for all Rhode Islanders."
