Donald Trump's former press secretary says the 2016 campaign team went into crisis mode after the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape came out. Trump brags about grabbing women's genitals in the tape. Today on the witness stand in Trump's hush money trial, Hope Hicks said Trump initially told her, "That doesn't sound like something I would say."       An NYPD sergeant is being sent to retraining for accidentally firing his gun as police were clearing protesters at Columbia University. Officials say no one was injured in the incident which happened Tuesday as the sergeant was trying to gain entry into a locked office in Hamilton Hall. Officers in riot gear were attempting to clear out the violent protesters that forcibly took over the hall.        It turns out Russian forces and U.S. troops are temporarily operating out of the same military base in Niger [[ NEE-jair ]]. Reports say Russian forces are using a separate hangar and are not mingling with U.S. troops who are preparing to withdraw from the African country. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin downplayed the risks, telling reporters the Russians don't have access to U.S. forces or equipment.        The Justice Department is expected to indict Texas Democrat Henry Cuellar [[ kway-aar ]] and his wife. The details of the indictment are not clear at this time, but Cuellar denied any wrongdoing and vowed to run for re-election for his Texas seat in November. Cuellar's home and campaign office in Laredo, Texas were raided in 2022 as part of an investigation into Azerbaijan [[ a-zr-bai-jaan ]] and a group of American businessmen with ties to the country.        The puck drops tonight on a pair of game sixes in the NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Vancouver Canucks will head to Nashville to take on the Predators in game six. The Canucks lead that series three games to two. Then, the Dallas Stars will head to Vegas to face the Golden Knights in game six of that series. Dallas holds a three games to two series lead.        Kendrick Lamar is releasing a second diss track aimed at fellow rapper Drake. The track is titled "6:16 In LA", which plays off of Drake's infamous time stamp songs. Lamar takes aim at the Canadian rapper's OVO crew, suggesting his friends aren't who he thinks they are. This is the second diss song in a row in response to diss tracks by Drake released in April titled "Push Ups" and "Taylor Made Freestyle."
