Inauguration, December 1, 2020 @ 8:00 PM

As everyone would expect, we are unable to hold an inauguration program for our newly elected officials in the traditional style with the high school band, impressive honor guards and hundreds of guests. There will however be an inauguration as required by our charter. It will take place on Tuesday, December 1 at 8 PM. With the smaller gathering size and the need for Zoom meeting parameters, it will be held in the new Town Council Chamber here at Town Hall. Very few people will be in attendance due to COVID 19 protections.  Only the supporting staff, the elected officials and one guest for each official will be allowed in the Chamber for what will be a brief ceremony. The event will however be accessible to all via Zoom. Please log or call in to witness the oaths of office and organizational meetings of our incoming Town Administrator, Town Council and School Committee.
