BOARD OF CANVASSERS REMINDS VOTERS OF EMERGECY IN PERSON VOTING

 

Woonsocket, RI: The Woonsocket Board of Canvassers is reminding voters that Emergency in Person Votingfor the March 2, 2021 Special Statewide Referenda Election has started.

Emergency in Person Voting started Wednesday February 10, 2021 and will run through to March 1, 2021. It will be held at Woonsocket City Hall inside Personnel. The hours will be Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. You must be in line by 4:30pm to be allowed to vote. On Monday March 1st the hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm. You must be in line on the final day by 4pm to vote.

The Board of Canvassers would like to remind voters that if they plan on voting early, they must bring their photo ID with them just like you do at the polling place. A voter that has applied for a mail ballot for the Election is not eligible to vote early. If these voters do not wish to vote by mail after making an application, they must vote on Election Day March 2 by a provisional ballot at anyone of the polling places.
