WOONSOCKET BOARD OF CANVASSERS AND REGISTRATION REMINDS VOTERS OF TWO IMPORTANT DATES

 

Woonsocket, RI: The Board of Canvassers would like to remind voters of two important dates and deadlines.

August 23rd at 4pm is the deadline to apply for a mail in ballot for the September 13th Primary. If you plan to vote from home, you must submit an application to request a ballot to the Board of Canvassers by 4pm on August 23rd. The application must have an original signature to be processed. You may download the application at www.woonsocketri.org/board-canvassers.

On August 24th early voting begins for the Primary election. Any registered voter that wishes to vote early can do so by visiting City Hall during regular business hours 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. You must present a valid ID to vote early. For a list of acceptable forms of ID, you can visit www.woonsocketri.org/board-canvassers. Early voting ends on September 12th at 4pm.
